Motionless Road Generator (MRG)

The utilization of energy is an indication of the growth of a nation. One might conclude that to be materially rich and prosperous, a human being needs to consume more and more energy.

 

 An energy crisis is any great bottleneck (or price rise) in the supply of energy resources to an economy. Energy crisis can develop due to Overconsumption, Overpopulation, Delay in Commissioning of Power Plants, Wastage of Energy. Sometimes bottlenecks at oil refineries and port facilities restrict fuel supply. An energy crisis can arise due to over use of the resources and wastage of energy generated.



Nowadays, different types of energy sources have been identified. Some energy sources take many forms, including nuclear energy, fossil energy (like oil, coal and natural gas) and renewable sources like wind, solar, geothermal and hydropower. While many of the world's known energy resources, we often hear that we need more energy, but the truth is we’re already generating copious amounts. The problem is that most of it goes to waste. One of the richest sources of energy is roads and highways. To generate electricity from overhead vehicles, engineers proposed four most popular methods which convert capture wasted energy into electrical energy. These methods include the solar roadway, piezoelectric technology, Wind turbine, vehicle pressure.



The most important disadvantages of conventional methods

The initial cost of installation and optimization is much.

Cost of maintenance must be paid.

Their conversion efficiency is low.

Environmental conditions affects on output energy.

Might cause noise pollution and change the view of environment.

These methods could damage local wildlife.

Because of the impact on the speed of vehicles, fuel consumption increases.



Motionless Road Generator (MRG)

Here, we offer a new method that by passing vehicles on the road, the significant power will be generated. In this way, a motionless road generator (MRG) without moving part is installed under the road that will be no impact on the vehicle speed. This project addresses both the issues of energy saving as well as energy generation using new motionless road generator.



The most important advantages of this new method include:

The initial cost of installation is medium.

MRG do not have any type of moving or mechanical parts.

Has high reliability after installation and optimization.

Its noise pollution is almost zero.

Because of the lack of mechanical parts, has high efficiency.

It works in any weather conditions.

Have not visual impact on their surrounding environment.

Do not damage the environment and wildlife.

In this method, output power of motionless generator depends on four parameters that shown by symbols x1 to x4. To evaluate the effect of these parameters on output power, three types of power can be defined typically. These powers include: instantaneous power P, Generated power in one hour Ph, generated power in one day Pd. The following figures show that output power increases by changing the parameters. It is important to note that all of these figures show only the output power of a generator when a vehicle passes over it. It is clear that with increasing number of generators substantial power can be generated.
